Reservations & Billing

Reserving Your Seat

After registration, your first payment is collected immediately to reserve your seat. Enrollment is limited, and spots are not held without payment.

Billing Structure

  • Weekly (Core Track): First session collected at registration; recurring weekly billing begins one full billing cycle after your first session.

  • Monthly (Continuity Track): First month collected at registration; recurring monthly billing begins one full billing cycle after your first session.

  • Pay-in-Full (Intensive Track): Full payment collected at registration; no recurring billing.

Billing continues regardless of attendance; missed sessions can be made up by viewing the session recording. Cancellation and refund terms — including for the Pay-in-Full Intensive Track — are detailed in your program agreement.

Insurance & Reimbursement (Superbills)

A Life In Balance is a private-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly.

If you have out-of-network (OON) benefits, I can provide a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt for services) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

How reimbursement typically works:

  • You pay for services at the time of service, according to your plan.

  • You request a superbill (provided on a monthly basis).

  • You submit the superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement consideration under your out-of-network benefits.

Important notes:

  • Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed.

  • You are responsible for verifying your out-of-network benefits, coverage, and reimbursement rates directly with your insurer.

  • A superbill reflects only billable clinical services (your group sessions) and requires a qualifying diagnosis. Program materials, workshops, and other non-clinical components of the Continuity and Intensive tracks are not billable and are not included on a superbill.

  • On request, I can share the information insurers commonly ask for (service/procedure code, diagnosis code, and provider details) so you can confirm your benefits in advance.
